Description

SIYI A8 Mini is a compact 3-axis gimbal camera designed for installation on UAVs, ground robotic platforms and stationary remote surveillance systems. Its key advantage is the combination of low weight and professional stabilisation, delivering steady, highly readable video during movement, hovering or aggressive turns.

At its core is an 8-megapixel Sony 1/1.7" CMOS sensor, providing 4K 4096×2160 recording at 25 fps and also supporting 2K/Full HD/HD modes. Optics with a 21 mm focal length, F2.8 aperture and a 93° field of view are suitable both for area overview and tighter object control. For added detail, a 6x digital zoom is available, while HDR helps preserve highlights and shadows in high-contrast lighting. Starlight mode improves visibility in low light when you need a confident image without harsh shadow drop-offs.

The gimbal offers wide working angles: Pitch from −135° to +45°, Yaw from −160° to +160°, Roll from −30° to +30°. Follow, FPV, Lock, Nose Mode and Upside Down Mode are available — convenient for different flight scenarios, platform types and mounting configurations. For connection and control, S.Bus, UART and Ethernet/UDP are provided; the camera is compatible with ArduPilot and PX4/MAVLink ecosystems. Video can be output via Ethernet, Micro‑HDMI or CVBS, making integration easier with SIYI digital video transmission systems as well as analogue FPV solutions. USB Type‑C is included for settings and updates, and recording is to microSD/TF (Class 10) up to 128 GB. When needed, AI identification and auto-tracking are supported when used with the compatible external SIYI AI Tracking Module.
