Description

Ballistic packages are soft, flexible and lightweight panels of various shapes that reliably protect against pistol bullets, small fragments and secondary striking elements (concrete fragments, glass, etc.).

Material for manufacturing Militex packages:

- Ultra-high-density polyethylene (UHMWPE) of the Dyneema®️ brand (USA), which is considered the best choice for the manufacture of ballistic protection and is characterized by

the most stable quality;

- Synthetic non-woven material (Kevlar) as an additional damper that reduces extra-obstacle trauma;

- Cover made of high-quality waterproof fabric - 100% nylon 170g/m2 with thermoplastic polyurethane coating. Sealing - ultrasound, which firmly holds the edges of the armor package and ensures its reliability and quality.

The MILITEX armor package withstood shots:

- a pistol bullet of caliber 9x18 mm (velocity 341±1 m/s) with a spherical head part with a steel non-heat-strengthened core in a steel jacket, clad with tompak, cartridge 57-N-181s (Makarov pistol);

- a 9x19 mm Luger bullet (velocity 401±1 m/s) in an all-metal jacket made of copper alloy with a hemispherical nose part with a soft (lead) core in accordance with the requirements of clause 6.1.2. (under normal operating conditions), clause 7.1.1, table. 1 DSTU 8782:2018
