Description

The RSMH military boonie hat in Multicam with a narrow brim is designed for tasks where low weight, ventilation and a stable fit matter. The short brim won’t get in the way when using optics, hearing protection, a radio or other kit, and it also reduces the risk of snagging in dense vegetation. For hot weather and active movement, it features a well-thought-out cooling system: a semi-rigid mesh runs around the crown, letting air through while not “sagging”, keeping the hat looking neat even after repeated use.

The fit can be adjusted to your conditions: a chin cord with a cord lock holds the hat securely in wind, during running or riding, while the rear elastic adjuster with a lock lets you quickly reduce volume to fit under helmet liners or change the fit while wearing field gloves. Around the perimeter there is a camouflage tape — convenient for tucking in branches, grass or netting elements to match the silhouette to the terrain.

The material is cotton twill with a density of 260 g/m². It feels pleasant against the skin, breathes well and performs better in heat, when synthetics can cause overheating.
