Description
RUSHFPV XSPAN 10W is a high-power analogue FPV video transmitter built for applications where range, reliability and predictable video link performance are critical. It’s designed for FPV aircraft, fixed-wing platforms, experimental radio systems and DIY RC/FPV builds when standard 25–800 mW isn’t enough. The 4900–6000 MHz operating band and an 80-channel grid (10 bands × 8 channels) provide flexible frequency selection, improve compatibility with different receivers, and help separate channels between airframes to reduce mutual interference.
The transmitter offers five RF power modes: PIT for safe setup next to goggles/receiver, 25 and 200 mW for testing and everyday scenarios, plus 5 and 10 W for maximum range and a stable signal in challenging conditions. Its digital PLL architecture reduces frequency drift, which is especially important on long flights and with temperature changes. In addition, RUSHFPV uses PA calibration to keep output power more uniform across different channels throughout the entire band.
To reduce harmonics and unwanted emissions, there’s an integrated band-pass filter — useful when operating alongside navigation and other onboard electronics. Thermal management is handled separately: a three-layer aluminium enclosure acts as a heatsink, while a large centrifugal fan actively removes heat during 5–10 W operation. Support for IRC Tramp allows remote changes of channel/band/power from a compatible flight controller, and the wide 7–36 V input simplifies integration into different airframes and power systems.
Important: connect an antenna to the VTX before applying power. Running a high-power transmitter without a load may damage the output stage. Use an antenna for the correct band and with the proper SMA connector type.
