The HawkEye NS is a body-worn personal GPS tracker and messaging device measuring only 3 x 1.8 x 0.7 inches. It is designed for covert military or law enforcement personnel safety tracking and remote civilian use cases such as oil field and forestry work. It offers real-time, 100 percent global coverage via the Iridium satellite network, allowing users to achieve situational awareness, mission coordination, and the personal safety of mission-critical operations and personnel.
The HawkEye NS is the most affordable tracking and messaging unit in Blue Sky Network’s product line-up. It is bundled with the company’s SkyRouter™ and Analytics platform, as the industry-leading fleet monitoring, operational coordination and oversight portal tracking thousands of assets anywhere in the world.
The HawkEye NS sends real-time position reports at set intervals, and in an emergency situation, a user can activate a Quick Position (QPOS) button, which triggers a distress alert. With a Bluetooth-enabled Android or iOS smartphone, the HawkEye NS can further send two-way free-text and canned-messages.
The HawkEye NS is built to operate reliably and accurately in harsh conditions, along with Iridium and GPS antennas already embedded inside the device for extra portability and agility. The ultra-low power consumption allows operation for days at a time between battery charges.
