Description

The XT90 power connector (Male + Female) is a two-pin solution for connecting LiPo/Li-ion batteries, electronic speed controllers (ESC), electric motors and any power circuits with increased current load. It’s a popular choice in the RC and FPV world, where not only conductivity matters, but also the mechanical reliability of the connection.

The housing is made from heat-resistant PA66 nylon with a UL94 V-0 flame-retardant rating. This material tolerates heat better during peak loads and soldering, and reduces the risk of deformation. The contacts are made from gold-plated brass, providing low contact resistance, stable current transfer and less heating at the connection point.

A key advantage of XT90 is its asymmetrical keyed shape and guide slot. They physically prevent connecting “plus” and “minus” the wrong way round, which is especially useful during quick battery swaps or when building DIY power systems. For easy wiring, polarity markings are provided, and the contact design helps with neat soldering of power cable (or crimping — depending on the version).

The connector is suitable for large FPV/RC models, quadcopters, aircraft models, e-mobility, chargers and various projects where a reliable and safe power connection with long service life is required.
