Description of the dosimeter in the form of a pen HFS-P3

Designed for convenient and comfortable use for measuring the flux density of X, β, γ particles, as well as X-ray radiation - both for one-time and long-term studies.

The accuracy of measurements allows the device to be used by both amateurs and professionals.

The radioactivity indicator (Geiger counter) is equipped with an informative LCD display for displaying results - it displays instantaneous and average indicators of the radiation background measurement.

It is possible to set the maximum value of the radiation level of the background radiation and a built-in sound alarm when it is exceeded, the noise level of which is regulated by the appropriate settings. Thanks to this, there is no need for constant visual control of the device itself - in any case, you will be informed about the radiation danger.

Measurement of the level of radiation and display of results on the device is carried out according to the international system of SI units - in sieverts (usv);

The use of a vacuum GM sensor as a sensor in the radioactivity meter allows for high sensitivity - from 80 mSv (0.8 MRN) - and a small measurement error (+/- 10%), the results of which you can be absolutely sure. Due to the use of this type of sensitive element, the device is quite resistant to mechanical loads.

A quick guide for beginners

- press the power button for 5 seconds (middle top button) - the device will turn on and give a sound signal or connect it with a USB cable to the USB port;

- After turning on the device, wait a few minutes for the device to calibrate;

- To go to the settings menu, press any of the three buttons on the front panel of the device;

– You can switch the menu to the right in a circle with the far right button. Far left button - moves the menu selection to the left; Middle upper button - select the selected menu item;

– The radiation dosimeter (Geiger counter) will display the current readings. After some time of use, the average radiation value corresponding to the received dose will be displayed;

- if necessary, repeat measurements and reset the data - through the Delete menu item;

- After the measurements are finished, press and hold the middle upper key until it turns off (when connected from the USB port, the device is always on and does not turn off).
