- Two operating modes: standard 0.1–800 MHz and extended ULTRA up to 6 GHz (activated with code 4321).
- 2-in-1: a full-featured spectrum analyser and a signal generator (sine/square/two-tone).
- Precise measurement setup: RBW filters 200 Hz–850 kHz, 0–31 dB attenuator, additional 20 dB LNA.
- Field-friendly: 4" colour touchscreen display, battery life up to 2 hours.
- PC control: USB Type‑C — works as a computer-controlled analyser/generator, auto-calibration.
Description
TinySA Ultra is a portable spectrum analyser that helps you quickly “see” the airwaves and verify radio equipment performance — from low-frequency sources and harmonics to high-frequency ranges in ULTRA mode. The device is suitable for interference diagnostics, emission monitoring, antenna path tuning, filter and generator testing, as well as for training and laboratory tasks. The 4-inch colour resistive touchscreen displays up to 450 sweep points, allowing you to cover a wide frequency range in a single view and quickly assess signal levels.
For more accurate measurement conditions, it features switchable resolution bandwidth (RBW) filters from 200 Hz to 850 kHz and a stepped input attenuator from 0 to 31 dB with 1 dB steps. When you need to pull out weak signals, the built-in 20 dB low-noise amplifier (LNA) helps (important: the attenuator and LNA are not used at the same time). The instrument includes a built-in calibration generator for self-test and automatic calibration of low levels.
Another strong point of TinySA Ultra is its signal generator mode when the device is not busy analysing: a sine output up to 800 MHz is available, as well as square/two-tone operation up to 4.4 GHz (depending on the mode). USB connectivity makes TinySA Ultra PC-controllable, which is convenient for measurements, logging, and remote operation. The built-in battery provides at least ~2 hours of standalone use. Observe the input limits: maximum level is +10 dBm — exceeding it may damage the device.
How to enable ULTRA: menu CONFIG → MORE → ENABLE ULTRA → enter code 4321.
