Description
The RP-SMA Male RF solder-type connector is designed for assembling and repairing coaxial assemblies based on RG402 0.141" (50 Ω) semi-rigid cable. This type of connection is often chosen where repeatable performance, low loss and a stable contact are crucial — in antenna paths, test benches and compact radio modules.
The RP-SMA (reverse polarity) format means the centre contact polarity is “reversed”: in this version, despite the Male thread, the centre contact is Female (socket/hole). This is critical for compatibility with FPV antennas, receivers/transmitters and adapters that use the RP-SMA standard. Before ordering, it’s worth confirming you need RP-SMA specifically to avoid incompatibility with standard SMA.
Solder mounting ensures a dependable electrical connection of both the shield and the centre conductor, as well as high mechanical strength — especially important for UAVs, mobile platforms and equipment operating under vibration.
