Description

The ANYSECU SF-103 digital frequency counter with CTCSS/DCS analyser (measurement range 2 MHz – 2.8 GHz) is designed for situations where you need to quickly and accurately determine the operating frequency of a wireless device or two-way radio. The unit identifies not only the transmit frequency itself, but also the associated code/tone if it is used on the radio. Such a code can be considered an “access key”: having the same CTCSS/DCS on two radios allows you to receive transmissions on the configured channel.

This model is an improved evolution of the popular SF-401 and is geared towards use with modern radios. The SF-103 rapidly scans the airwaves and helps detect radio transmitting devices — from standard consumer transmitters to disguised radio microphones or wireless cameras. For this reason, it is often used during room sweeps for “bugging” devices or other hidden wireless signal sources.

The compact housing made of durable ABS plastic is convenient for everyday use. The front panel features a backlit colour LCD/TFT screen and simple control buttons; on the top there is the antenna connector and a Micro USB port for charging. The frequency counter runs on a built-in 3.7 V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1500 mAh, drawing around 20 mA, which provides long battery life. To save power further, there is auto power-off after 1 minute of inactivity. Thanks to the detachable BNC antenna, you can fit a different antenna with other frequency characteristics if required.
